The Original Radon / Sump Dome serves two pressing needs; the need for a universal gas-tight cover to serve the radon mitigation market and the need for a cover to retrofit failing sump and sewage basin covers. The Original Radon / Sump Dome is designed to cover an existing basin, providing a new heavy duty cover to properly contain and vent radon gas and odors. There is no reason to dig up your basement or garage floor to remove the existing sump or sewage basin. Simply remove the old cover and install The Original Radon / Sump Dome over the opening, to create a new, sealed system. The Original Radon / Sump Dome is adaptable with a variety of spaces for different connections and comes with a full range of flanges that fit every size pipe. This piece of equipment was designed to function very well. It was very easy to install, has a viewing window and seals tightly to PVC piping. The construction of the unit itself, appears as if it will last for numerous years. Very good product!

Good but could use more parts

Would Recommend

Product came with a few odds and ends to utilize it in many configuration though it was lacking a few grommets and etc which I was able to find and utilize to get a good configuration for my needs. The quality of the cover was exceptional and at the end of the day thats kind of the most important thing. Would I buy again yes, is there room for improvement in the kit, definitely.

The 3” threaded collar for the radon vent cracked under light tension when hand-tightening the mounting bolts. Other than that, the product is as expected.
