Shiny gold not brushed gold.

The picture on the website looks like the button is a softer gold like a brushed, gold or champagne gold. But it is a very shiny bright gold.

not 100% happy with switch because a lot of water gets down in there, also over time the color coating peeled right off, so instead of bronze finish , it was silver underneath. But, had a great call with Adrian in customer service and he took care of the whole thing for me. A new button is on its way. Thanks Adrian!

Insinkerator customer service is wonderful

We had a sink top switch installed when we redid our kitchen six years ago. It worked but the button and ring kept coming loose and needing caulk to hold it in place. A year or so ago i found the unit had been recalled, and Insinkerator replaced the entire unit for no charge. When going to install the new button itself recently I realized why I had had so much trouble with the old one- we have an undermount composite sink plus a granite countertop, and the plastic switch body was simply too shor...

Replacement button and ring different size than original installed in 2018

We’ve been back and forth trying to get a polished chrome replacement button for a 2018 unit which was stained by water (first replace tarnished also, 2nd we were sent satin finish in error). This is no. 3! The outer ring and push button were both significantly different in underside design than the original. The replacement ring does not snap onto the button body and the underside collar for the ring is both shorter and smaller in diameter than the original and the button has two inner rings...

Switch is cheap plastic

The switch is cheap plastic that broke in the first 60 days

The button does not sit level, and it leaks

Once installed, the button sits with a list to one side. No matter how tight I try to get the mount, it still leaks into the cabinet below. I don't know if the leak results from an improper seal or if the actual push button area leaks.

I purchased a replacement sinktop switch push button for my Insinkerator. The outer ring and push button were both significantly different in underside design than the original. The replacement ring does not snap onto the button body and the underside collar for the ring is both shorter and smaller in diameter than the original and the button has two inner rings so does not fit over the inner body button.

Satin nickel finish did not hold up. Seems to have corroded and got discolored in splotches

The satin nickel finish failed in a short period of time with minimal usage.

Ridiculous price.

Ridiculous price for a piece of plastic, but needed black. I expected metal.

Significant improvement over the button covers that come with the switch.

These button covers provide for different colors that can coordinate with different styles and colors of counter top and cabinetry. They are much better looking than the ones that come with the switch.
