Why me every time?!

Just as garbage as the evolution compact 3/4 hp ! So we have been thru 4 disposals in 4 months because they have the same issues, leaking from the top

Horrible design for anti-vibration connection

I just had a new unit installed by a professional plumber and the unit leaks at the connection between the disposal and the drain pipe. The plumber came back and said he sees this problem all the time with this unit. The anti-vibration fitting is a HORRIBLE design. The plumber can not replace the flimsy spring clamp with a hose clamp or flexible discharge tube without voiding the InSinkErator warranty. Wow - so disappointed in this design!!!

I don't like it at all.

Don't waste your time. I bought the Top of the line 1HP advanced. It is noisy and I just now tried out, it was installed today October 13th 2025. I put a squash down this unit and after 20 seconds I looked to see how it worked the squash was still there in the center. I don't like this unit at all. Even though you will read on the box it is quite it is far from quite. The older units were great. I wish my old one did not give out.

Noisy disposal replacement

Insinkerator replaced my Prestige-2 due to failure. It was replaced with the Evolution 55ss. I thought it would be equivalent, but it is so noisy. It says it’s very quiet but nope. My previous disposal was so quiet.

High-Quality Solid Disposal

I own rental properties, so I (unfortunately!) replace disposals multiple times every year. I use the Evolution 1.0HP disposal because it has the best quality. It costs more than other disposals, but it also lasts longer than other disposals, meaning that I don't need to replace it as often. A relatively new feature is the lift-and-lock feature, and that feature makes the installation vastly easier. Extremely disappointing

Oranges keep spinning in the middle and are not shredded. Looks like depending on the position your garbage hits the bottom, it simply will keep spinning and will not be shredded. I keep having to manually remove the orange peels and arranging them in a certain position so that they actually get shredded. Extremely disappointing.
