Might have been good
It went into the top of the floor beam instead of the subfloor, this bit is now stuck in my wall due to the fact the end would not grip in my drill to back it out. Guess I Should have gotten a better brand with a hex shank.

High hopes but....
Had high hopes with this product. Followed directions and watched how-to videos before attempting to use. First 2 attempts using guide but still went at an angle. Finally got it where I wanted and it got stuck. Tried reversing the drill and no effect. It got to the point where the drill spun around the drill bit shaft, snapping the end clear off as well as shaving into the shaft. (See picture). Ultimately had to make a much large hole in the wall to get to the drill bit. Vice grips did no...

Bound up on first try
After getting set up with the included handle, the bit started up fine but soon after the boring began it bound up in the wall—badly enough that the bit snapped off as I tried to back it out.

Not flexible enough. It stuck immediately. I had to use a pipe wrench to remove it from my wall.

PapaJoe sorry to hear you had issues with the bit getting stuck. A bigger drill with more power sometimes is required depending on what you are drill...
Difficulty pulling wire
Need the larger drill bit to pull wire easily. Pull hole JUST allows the 12 ga ground wire through, BUT ONLY after cleaning it out from the coating. Better off getting the 3/4" drill bit and bender/guide separately, and make sure you tape up the cut wire before trying to feed it.

Works well but could be improved
A hole through the flute of the bit allowing for attaching a pull line as opposed to trying to tape a line to the bit or shaft would improve the product.

Flex bit...doesn't work...binds up
I've built my own house, and used many tools. This tool is just poorly designed. The concept is simple enough, but the bit seems to have too much bite, and will bind up every time, even when I tested it on a free 2x4 outside the wall. I'm sure there are better quality products that do the same thing, this was a waste of $50.
