Defrosting is Not Per Owner's Manual Instructions

The owner's manual clearly states, "......Pull out the drain plug about 1" (2.5cm) until the drain hole on the plug shows completely. Turn the drain plug clockwise until the arrow is pointed down. Unscrew counterclockwise to remove the interior plug. This allows the water to flow out into the tray." All of that is incorrect. Terrible return policy.

I brought this freezer for my RV however when I went to put it inside the trailer I found out it was about one inch too wide to fit into the door so I wanted to return it. I took me a while to find someone to help me load it as I am a 77 yo disabled vet. We purchased this little freezer back in November of 2019 along with what we were told by the salesman was a 3 year extended warrantee. Hot point 4.6 cu ft Freezer Chest

The nice white exterior looks charming in my inviting kitchen, so it fits right in with my other appliances and table and chairs. I like the height of it so I can easily reach into it to retrieve any item necessary from the freezer chest. It includes a plastic scraper for defrosting time. You can’t see what or where anything is

I like the fact that it’s small and compact I was actually able to get it into a laundry room closet. The one thing I don’t like about it is that I can’t see what I have in there. My other freezer was an upright where I open the door and I could actually see everything on the shelves. This one has no shelves, and I am going to have to take time and take everything out and write a note as to where it is in the freezer. Perfect size Garage Freezer

We purchased this freezer to place in the garage to store our frozen foods that do not fit in our overloaded refrigerator freezer. As of now after two weeks of service, it is exactly the size we needed and is operating perfectly. Time will tell how it will operate for the long term, but it is of a symple design with not to much to go wrong with it. So I am expecting at least 10 to 15 years good service out of it.

Absolutely Worth It!

I am so happy with this freezer! It's the perfect size for my family and my small apartment. I've had it for almost a month now and it's wonderful to have the extra room! It doesn't make any noise, not even a whisper. It was ready to fill up in just about 2 hours and it stays set at 4 which is what's recommended in the manual. It said to clean the inside with baking soda and water before use and periodically but I missed that part. Didn't do it so hopefully there's no major reason that was recom...

Super handy

Our bottom freezer was overflowing, it was hard to open, let alone find anything. This new freezer adds more freeze capacity than we need - but will soon use I am sure. You're supposed to let this stand upright before you plug it in - we didn't do that, make sure you do. We eventually unplugged it to leave the lid open to outgas a bit - that's when we slowed down to read the manual. It runs quieter than I expected but still has a low hum that's eventually easy to ignore.

No energy light

Disliked it didn't have an energy light when the freezer would shut down. It is very quiet. Plugged it in and didn't know if it was on or off. Pther than waiting 30 minutes to see inside that the wall were freezing up. Filled with frozen veggies and meats that i had to put in another freezer since my other 5 cu ft freezer stopped freezing. What helped on that freezer is that it had a light to warn me that it was not working.
