Used as garage freezer definitely keeps things frozen. Temp adjustable is very convenient.

lasted 3.5 years, just outside Lowes ext warranty

bought July 2021 and it died on me a couple times the past few days. Green light quit a year ago but still worked fine. It defrosted on its own, I removed what meat I could salvage and it came back on for 4 days. Compressor is hot and looks like coolant line is leaking. Those parts should have a 5yr warranty. I'll call and see what they say but it's dead now.I'll give it 2 stars for the price.

Died after 2 years

This unit died after two years and the green light is still on indicating it is still working. Similar to other reviews here. We had a similar issue with a Hisense Beverage Fridge so I think we'll just stop purchasing from them as the quality is clearly an issue.

Died after 2 years

This Hisense 5-cu ft Manual Defrost Chest Freezer died after only 2 years. The worst part about that was that the green light was lit, indicating it was on, but when I opened the lid, I was met with the most horrific smell of a full freezer full of thawed, spoiled, rotten food! I have no idea how long it was off since the power light never went out. I would NEVER recommend this freezer. I am out $200 for the freezer plus $200-$300 worth of food that had to be thrown out.

Good little chest freezer but power light went out

I purchased a new Hisense chest freezer LFC070N6AWE on 06/26/2023. The little green power light went out after about 10 weeks but the light inside the freezer and the freezer itself are working just fine. Kind of crazy that the HiSense solution was to refund my purchase price and destroy the freezer. For a burnt out light bulb? Anyway, I hopefully just can fix the burnt out bulb. The freezer works great besides that little issue.

Internal damage

Arrived with dents on inside side of lid affecting the seal & causing excess frost build up. I thought the dents were a serial or model number but after dragging it out of corner i found it was actually dents.

Junk

Purchased on 10-28-21. Today is 8-1-23 and the unit has stopped working. I rarely open the unit and it's far from being full. Contacted Hisense the warranty is only for 1 year. The 5 year warranty is ONLY for the sealed system components such as the compressor and cooling lines attached to it. I may order the $20 thermostat part and if that dont fix it, I'll junk it. Either way it's the last Hisense that I'll ever buy.
