easy to use and quick easy install fits almost any windows
length of cord on unit.
I just purchased one of these units and it seems to be working well, but why not put a 10 or 12' cord on it. the short electric cord makes it unsuitable for a lot of areas in the house, and you say don't use an extension cord.

Have had mine for over two years and never had to drain it. Easy to clean the filters and it still runs like the day i bought it. Decided to buy the same one for my dad.

Don't waste your money
Bought this a week ago. Followed the instructions during installation. Installed in a 140 sq ft home office with a single window that tends to retain heat on warmer days. It has been between 80 to 85 degrees during the day here for the last week and the unit will not cool the room below 75 degrees during the day even when turned down to it's lowest temperature(61 degrees) and run on high.
