Heartland Monterra Value Gable 10-ft x 8-ft Wood Outdoor Storage Shed

Detailed analysis

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my shed but it lacked a few features that were important.

Great feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m happy with this shed and the quality of it and the standard

Average

Not gonna knock this too hard but the package does not have 2x4s for the base, no wood to go behind the door for support. Seems like a great idea and very convenient but for the price point you could get a custom shed and have 2x4s or 2x6s with a much more solid shed. The pre-primed siding was nice and it was delivered professionally.

Great investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my shed. It is huge. Great workmanship went into building it. I would Recommend it to my friends and family.

Terrible Product!

Completely disappointed in this Shed! Spent $5200 on a flimsy Shed that the doors don’t close correctly and the Installer used roofing shingles to level it in one spot. There’s several wood shims placed to help with the leveling as well. I’d never, ever buy another Shed from Heartland! I’m totally disgusted with this Product and how it was installed! I had 4 other pictures that it would not let me load. They showed how bad that the shimming was done. But roofing shingles used as shims that’s a...

10x12 Montero Shed

Backyard Products did a terrible job painting & installing our shed. The paint job was sloppy & some of the wood was damaged too. Our shed leaks when it rains & is less than 2 months old. We have tried several times to get in touch with Backyard Products & their customer service is terrible too!

my shed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the quality could have been a lot better and could have been put together better too

New Shed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a few problems with the shed, like nails not completely hammered in all the way. Let me tell you that hurts and it damaged a cabinet I was putting in the shed. Other than that, it's all good, I just need to paint it.

Bad delivery experience and only particle boards

They never called us about the delivery and they dumped the boxes off in the street blocking one lane of the road! I called and customer service said that is curbside and it wasn’t in the “middle of the road!” We opened the boxes to move it out of the road and all the siding is particle board! Hard to paint and keep that dry from rain. Probably will need real siding. Not worth $2,000. Cutting and making your own would probably be cheaper.

Very happy with installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Original installation did not match the picture on the website. I called to complain. They sent out someone immediately to fix it and included ramps and paint. They did everything possible to make things right. Very happy with the finished product.
