My excitement quickly turned into regret when I realized I’d spent $4,000 on a useless hunk of metal. After four infuriating months battling Harvest Right, I’m no closer to getting a replacement for my freeze dryer, which failed catastrophically on the fifth batch. Their customer service is all smiles until they realize they can’t fix it with a script, then the games begin: endless delays, hollow apologies, and a parade of excuses. Any attempt to reach a manager is just another excuse to nowhere...

So glad we got one!

We love ours and we keep it busy! Produce from the garden in the summer and fall. Candy for the holidays! When we find deeply discounted meat, vegetables, or fruit at the store, we get it and freeze dry it. Family members love our powdered peppers, garlic, onions, paprika, etc. The Harvest Right app Takes the guesswork out of how to setup and run most everything.

Top notch quality with the customer service to match. I had an issue caused by me and they still honored the warranty and fixed the unit.

Lasting Product?

We unfortunately had to get our HarvestRight sent back and fixed after only a couple years of use. We did not use it very often and it still went bad. The oil less pump failed and the freeze dryer itself had issues as well. We have been very disappointed in the quality of such an expensive item. We had to buy a new pump, we went with the premium oil pump this time, and we had to pay for shipping to and from their facility. I Love It!

I Love my freeze dryer. I have had it a few years now and I have done many things with it. Fruits, vegetables, soups, meats, sauces and candy. I also use if for when items in the freezer are getting old and I want them to last longer. It makes storing food easy and so light. So no heavy canning jars on the shelf. Right now I am trying to make fruity candy to give my husband something for a treat besides store bought candy..

I have had mine for 4 years now and have had a very positive experience with the product. Of course, there are some downsides, but overall, it is a purchase that I would recommend. The positives are quite extensive. As an avid camper/hiker/hunter the cost and quality of the trail meals that I produce as compared to those commercially available is far superior. I had a small issue with my freeze dryer not creating a vacuum seal so I called into service and I spoke to someone who scheduled a service call from the experts at Harvest Right. They called me and walked me through checks and discovered the issue and got me on my way to freeze drying my batch. Their customer service is top notch!

Harvest Right does it Right! Customer service is lacking in today’s world, but this company has been amazing! I had this misfortune of getting two dysfunctional machines when I initially made this purchase, but they replaced them both and we are now freeze drying successfully and loving it!

Absolutely Worth It!

I absolutely love using my FDer! While I had a couple of hiccups getting started, the customer service team was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and patient. They took the time to answer all my questions and helped resolve every issue. There’s definitely a learning curve—one I’m still riding, lol—but now that everything is running smoothly, I’m having so much fun freeze drying all kinds of foods, treats, and even flowers. Great for long term storage

I have been using a Harvest Right freeze dryer for about 4 months and we love the treats it can create! We can prep foods for long term storage and create longer lasting snacks for all our kids lunches. If you're tired of kids wasting fruits and snacks then you'll love a freeze dryer. Bananas and skittles are some of the best and easiest snacks to make. We had a sensor go out and HR sent a shipping box and fixed the issue within a week. Great customer service also!
