What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to have a mix of positive and negative feedback. Many customers found the pump effective at removing water, with comments about its performance and value. However, a significant number reported issues with the float switch getting stuck, causing the pump to run continuously. Some also noted installation challenges. Overall, the product performs well when functioning properly, but the float switch reliability is a major concern affecting quality and durability.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews."Weep Hole" is a joke! what a mess.
The instructions for this pump called for a 3/16" weep hole to be drilled in the discharge pipe to prevent air lock. This created a strong stream of water to shoot across the sump crock like a power washer was installed. It splashed against the side of the sump crock wall and everywhere around the outside of the crock, including the basement walls. Customer Support advised me to try drilling a larger hole, which increased the amount of pressurized water being ejected and water left at the bottom...
Great pump except for 5 cents worth of cheap glue
Agree with everyone else, great pump but after a month it pumped down the sump and kept running. Couldn't find my receipt so I dared to check out the faulty switch. If you look on the photo the float rides up and down a white plastic runner, at the top of the runner is a cup with a magnet glued inside. The glue fails and the magnet stays stuck to the underside of the switch sensor. 10 minute fix to remove the screws and use Gorilla or something similar to reattach it prperly but I wouldn't r...
Float switch isn't reliable.
I purchased two of these pumps. One was already replaced under the warranty. The second one now has the same issue. The float switch malfunctioned in the on position, and the pumps just kept running. This is obviously an electrical problem. There is no mechanical adjustment, only a circuit board as in the photos. First pump lasted about 11 months, the second two years (which is out of warranty). The pump itself is awesome at moving the water and quiet. The sump under the house has perfectly cle...
Easy to install, very powerful
This pump went in very easily. I liked the pumping power this pump has. I had to put a cover over over pit since the spray from the hole that I was directed to put in the plastic discharge pipe to avoid air lock in the system. My sump pit is not that deep, so it splashed a little without a cover. The directions say to have an empty pit for the install, but I doubt many would be installing without water already in their pit. I had no trouble installing the discharge pipe before placing the pump i...

Great Little Sump Pump!
I purchased this after my basement was flooded due to my sump went out right after a big rain storm. It was able to clear out around a foot of water in my 800ish square foot basement in around an hour. I was rather impressed. It has been working great ever since also keeps my basement clear of water. Just remember if you do not have a male connection on your pipe (threaded adapter) you will need to purchase one for this pump.

Its a $200 temporary pump
Purchased this pump in February of 2016. The switch broke in November of 2016. It lasted 9 months. There is a magnet on top of the float in a cup that apparently becomes unglued over a short period of time. Such was the case with mine. I re-glued the magnet in the cup but that still didn't fix the "always on/running" issue. Even with no magnet at all the unit continued to run.
Switch Gets Stuck
The switch does get stuck as most of the reviews have stated however, I was able to take apart the housing for the float switch and use some outdoor waterproof adhesive and strengthen the rubber washer to the magnet. This modification solved the problem and float does not stay in the up position or run.
Same as the others. Wont shut off!!
Had the first pump for three months. Woke up in the morning and it was running non-stop. Took that one back and got a replacement. Two months later and that one is doing it also. Its really sad considering this pump only turns on one or two times a week at the most. Very frustrating. I would buy from a company that makes good products.
Submersible Pump
Nice pump, however there appears to be no way of adjusting the float to make a longer 'run' time and stop 'short cycling'. The old "Water Ace" pumps allowed you to increase the length of the float wire to increase the time between running. These new units do not have such a design. This creates problems with shortening the life of the motor. If this isn't corrected, I will not buy one again.

Excellent Choice
I purchased this pump at the time of an emergency, my other pump went out and I had 3 feet of water in my basement, and am not sorry I did. There were cheaper models available but I believe you get what you pay for. I love this pump!!!!! It is so quiet that I cannot hear it come on if I am on the other side of the basement. It cleared the standing water in under 1 hour, that is a great accomplishment.
