Great simple product for 'one' connection. Did not come with fasteners which was a disappointment. Made of painted stainless which was a plus.

Good product; missing screws

I'm using this with a Werner fall protection harness and 6' lanyard: this is a very good anchor in my opinion. The online description suggests screws are included but in fact they are not. I had to purchase #10 screws separately ... a bit of a hassle to sort out the max diameter screw I could use.

Incorrect Description (actually 0 screws included)

Online description says it comes with screws but it does not. You'll have to figure out what kind of screws you want which is annoying because there's too many to choose from.

Can use this anywhere on the roof!

Can use this anywhere on the roof, and for multiple purposes. When you have a long/tall roof, being anchored all the way to the top isn't always ideal. You have a long rope that can get in the way. I've used this, along with a ratcheting tie-down to hold my ladder in place.

Good Product

I just installed two of these on the rooftop w/ the old man to ensure we'd be safe while doing Christmas decorations (about 40 ft up) . I used a rubber mallet to bang around and find a truss to screw into. The instructions tell you to use 2.5" screws but don't indicate the size/diameter of the screw. I believe I used #10 exterior wood screws, 2.5" long, which fit the holes reasonably well. The other reviewer's photos show exactly how to do it. The first anchor installed pretty easily, but while...
