Powerful, versatile desktop dust collector

I bought this dust collector as part of the recommended equipment for a power-carving class I took. It is great for sanding, using my Dremel, or my AutoMach carvers. I also used it extensively while augmenting my project with pyrography. I have severe asthma, and was amazed that when I used it, my current flare settles. Wobbly quaility

Its not the best construction at all. Sent the first one back as it was over 1/2 out of square. Kept the second one because I needed a filter. It was an 1/4+ out of square. There seems to be little quality control. I means the fans turn but it doesn't sit flat.

Good desktop air filter

Great little deskto air filter. Works great for power carving. Easy to assemble. Filters may need a little tape around edges but overall not a bad fit.

Bench top dual fan air filter

Works perfect, not too loud. I usually only use one fan and it sucks in all the fine dust from power carving. When you finish carving it's unreal how much fine dust gets trapped by the filter.

Being a decoy carver I make a lot of dust

Being a decoy carver I make a lot of dust power carving. In combination with my grizzly dust collector this filter works flawless.

Filter is shown backwards

It appears the filter on your photograph in the online catalog is installed backwards - the "chicken wire" backing and heavy cross-grid of the paper frame need to be on the back side, not facing the user. Please correct. With a properly installed filter the unit works fine.
