Good multi purpose screw

I actually used this screw to mount a 1/4 inch subfloor to my 2 sink/vanity area of my bathroom. I used this product to assure the subflooring was mounted to the floor securely.

I appreciate the quick service and availability of these 1 1/8' screws at Lowes. I was a little disappointed when I received the box. Lowes shipping personal had left the 2 boxes quite loose in a larger box. So when I received them the inner boxes were broken open and screws were falling out of the outer box. I request the shipping personal be a little more cautious when boxing. FedEx is not likely to handle the boxes more careful, so if Lowes would better prepare the shipment it would be great....

Wear leather gloves if you use these screws

I bought a 5 pound box... I'd say there's about 4 pounds of screws and a pound of metal burrs in there... About a quarter of that pound of metal burrs are now embedded in my thumb and forefinger... I hope I didn't breathe in too many... What happened to the Blue Hawk screws?... I believe Lowe's has made a mistake carrying this brand.

handy self starting screws

These are handy screws to have around. I've used them on drywall, (They are short), and also on other project is that a self starting screw that will work without pre-drilling is handy.

Dry Wall screws

We us these screws to build international shipping crates. They work well are secure the 1" x 4" boards to the Plywood. They are a quialty screw are a reasonable price.

Terrible product

Tried these rather my usual Blue Hawk screws. Heads constantly breaking off, never had this problem with Blue Hawk. Definitely won't purchase again.
