It works

Beats the crap out of fighting the hard plastic hose that comes with the paint sprayer, after a couple hours of trying to paint the barn my hand got tired from trying to keep the spray head in the direction I wanted it. It also makes it much easier to keep the sprayer head flat with the surface of the barn, or what ever you are painting, so you don't "fan" out the end of your stroke.

this gave me much more control of the gun during transitions in direction or upside down work. Its not completely loose - it is a little hard to turn but works well regardless

A big help

This helped eliminate the struggle with the stiff spray hose. The swivel could be a little more easier to pivot.

Relieved hose torque/stress at the spraygun.

I installed this where the hose from my X7 connects to the base of my spraygun. Now, I don't feel the hose trying to twist the spraygun out of position. Highly recommended.

Essential upgrade

I used my new X5 sprayer twice on bigger jobs. I noticed how moving wall to wall, room to room, the hose would curl and bind, causing me to pause spraying and untangle things. I discovered this swivel while browsing Graco’s accessories. Of course, I found a generic “made in China” version online, but I didn’t want to risk it blowing apart, showering everything in paint, ruining the job site and my profit margin all for the sake of a few dollars. This part doesn’t rotate freely, it’s rather stiff...

A must have

I bought a new graco paint sprayer and I first used it on my home and I did nothing but fight with the hose because it would get twisted and I was fighting with the spray gun hose all the time, so I went back to Lowe's and I found this swivel and worked great it could be a little bit better but it was 100% better than fighting with the spray gun and hose the entire time I was trying to get something painted.
