Google products must connect through the Google Home app and this app is not working and has not worked for several days and has been constantly disconnecting for several years. Yes, that's YEARS. I've had Google/Nest products since 2017 and the product support is non-existent. The Home app has been out of service for 4 days and the email address on the app site is not monitored. Worth it if....
I liked everything about the Chromecast with Google TV (HD). 4K was too much and currently dont own a 4k tv. In which case I would just get 4k tv with google tv. None the less, upgraded from the regular Chromecast cast which was a nightmare to use.
