Be careful, it's not really USB-C compatible.
This product uses a cross-wired USB-C connector, so won't work with any of the USB-C cables you have at home and will only work with the proprietary cable provided. This is a real inconvenience since you are limited to the short cable they provide. This is frustrating since the product does have a USB-C connector on it, which is an industry standard. The manufacturer made the decision to cross-wire the connector so it wouldn't work with anything but their cable which is the hallmark of a immatur...
