Effective with latex paint on wood
We used this on stained wood ceilings where previous owners had splattered latex white paint. This removed the areas that were smaller, thinner splatters. It did very slightly lighten the wood varnish, but overall it still looks better than the white paint

does not work as advertised
did not work at all on metal ceiling fans where i dripped latex ceiling paint, not did it work on the floor as advertised, i followed directions explicitly and Lowes recommended this product and am very unhappy and would like a refund
