not what I need, I guess

Described as the most durable of your 600, 700, and 800 series sealers, I had high hopes. I've learned that not all penetrating sealers enhance color, and I'm convinced there is no food-safe penetrating sealer that will stand up to my test: a drop of lemon juice sitting on it for a day. It burns right through, and "bleaches" out any color. But if you just want to repel water and other milder things, this should do just fine .. not sure how long.

I applied the product per the directions. However, it doesn’t really seem to protect against anything. No matter what drops on the counter, there will be a stain. I’m disappointed since now I’ll have to find a different product and redo my countertops.

Easy to apply and has nice finish

Made terrazzo-looking concrete countertops with white cement and dark rock. This method requires grinding and polishing. I contacted Ghostshield and spoke with a representative that was very helpful and recommended 2 applications of the 880 sealer. The first being at the start of grinding (around 90-100grit), and the second being after the final polish (3000 grit). Very easy to apply

This product rolls on very easily. It did not change the appearance of my 6-week-old brown concrete countertops. It was my understanding that the coverage for 2 coats would be 25 sq ft per bottle so I bought 3 bottles to do 2 coats on 80 sq ft. I was able to generously cover 80 sq ft with 1 bottle. Afterward, I waxed the countertops and that made a more noticeable change in the appearance. I wish the wax was not so expensive so I could apply it more frequently.

Fantastic products!

Compared to other concrete countertop sealers I have used in my almost fifty years of construction, I would have to rate Ghostshield 880 at the top of the competition. I applied easily, wasn't gummy or sticky like other products I have used, no noxious odors, penetrated well took the second coat easily and allowed me to apply the countertop wax the next day. Outdoor kitchen

The Ghost Shield product worked as advertised. At first with a product you’ve never used, you are skeptical. I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. It came and I followed the directions. I used it on our concrete countertop on our outdoor kitchen island/bar. It heads up water and has stood up to dropped food on it. I highly recommend this product.

The bottle is small, so I had to buy two of them to get 2 coats.
