I say that because you have the option to use a ratchet, socket, or wrench to remove stubborn bolts and nuts. The first time I used them was on a 1959 Ford F100 that had been sitting for 30 years and rusted up. The socket I tapped on there with a small ball peen hammer took the old rusted nuts of without a single issue

Flutes are straight cut, so if you have to, you can reinstall the same stripped bolt or screw. They fit really snug . You will probably have to hammer them on, but once they are on, it's not coming off unless you want it to. four stars because there is no 15mm/standard socket in this set, for those rounded off drain pan bolts. I was able to get these to extract several rounded 10mm bolts from an exhaust shield. Exactly What You Want When a Bolt Fights Back

Gearwrench 8 piece extraction socket set

This is a nice extraction socket set. I have not had a chance or need to use them yet but look to be sturdy and strong enough to handle and job I would need it to. You can use these to remove rusted bolts and fasten down bolts. These can be used with power tools or hand tools. This makes these sockets very versatile. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a socket ser like these.
