Simple and effective

This is a very simple design that is unobtrusive and yet effective. It stops anybody from being able to lift the doors off the rails and jiggle the lock. There are quite a few elaborative sliding door locks that have appeared on the market, but which I felt were bulky. Many attach to the door handle side of the door where for me it had a narrower metal piece which I was concerned to drill into and hit the glass. Easy and Effective

Got tired of the board in the door, and we have 4 sliders in our house. Bought these and installed 2 foot from the top of the door, easy to install and does the job very effective for a small cost.

Saved my life!

I heard something in the living room while I was asleep in the bedroom. I have a sliding glass door in my living room. I had been using a round, metal pipe in the bottom to use as an extra "lock".
