Golden Nectar Plum Starter Fruit tree produces extra-large fruit that has an amber colored flesh that is firm and has excellent flavor. The pit is small on mature fruit, allowing for great eating, both fresh and dried. This vareity is more for southern environments with a cold hardiness to USDA zone 7. 400 to 500 chill hours required to produce a good harvest that will arrive in late July. We recommend pollenating with Santa Rosa Plum.
