The belt eventually snapped. I replaced it yet again & it squealed again. I figured I'd try this before I donated to my mechanics kids college fund again. I ended up trying this stuff under the ol hood. To my surprise, it worked! Not sure if this we'll end up being the long term fix. But if it keeps me away from...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applied this gunk belt conditioner to a loud belt on our sxs that we had recently replaced, assuming it wasn’t bad we figured it may need help staying on track because we are a little rough on it. Dust, dirt, mud, snow, ruts, etc. applied twice within a week or so and so far so good. First application I wouldn’t say made it go away but definitely less noticeable. Best results I’d say take a time or two and some patience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know Gunk to be a good quality brand but I didn't know how well this particular product would work. I was very pleasantly surprised. I used this on one of my family's older cars that has a problem with the belt squealing when it goes over bumps or through a puddle. I noticed an immediate improvement after applying this treatment. Bye bye annoying belt squeals.

Being an old time mechanic I would normal just use some black silicone, but this belt conditioner is definitely less messy. And for home use, or for someone not mechanically inclined this product is great and I would recommend to diy and professionals alike.

It hasnt show any sign of negative effects or caused any cutting issues. In Alabama the heat here has caused the belts to dry out fast, so its nice to have a product like this to get some longer life out of them!

Stopped the squeal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used other gunk products before but not the belt spray. Very easy to use. Just sprayed on the belt next to the pulley I could see. Then ran it for a few minutes. I was getting a squal at start up and random times, and now there is no squeal. This can is pretty small but it doesn't take much so this should last for at least a year.

It had been slipping some and making a loud squealing noise but was still in good condition otherwise so used some Gunk Outdoor Belt Conditioner and the noise has stopped and the belt grabs the pulleys much better
