Provides great safety

I bought this to help ripping boards quickly while making cutting boards. I feel infinitely safer now cutting the smaller strips. only issue is it is slipping on the wood maybe there is too much sawdust on the boards so i had a wet towel that would wipe it on in between cuts to get a grip.
