I've tried other brands that are functional but GRK has really produced a fastener tool that sets itself apart from the other, cheap options. It sets the screw to the perfect depth to minimize trapping water and shortening the life of the deck boards, tightly holds all of the normal deck board sizes and correctly spaces the deck boards to eliminate debris accumulation between the boards. This is the only option for my team moving forward.

The GRK Anglepro hidden fastener system is a must have for anyone thinking of doing decks. This is my second kit. It comes with all the necessary components to use GRK screws to fasten deck boards. It’s adjustable depending on the size of the boards. It even comes in a nice carrying case.

Perfect hidden deck screw tool

This hidden deck screw tool is wonderful. The case it comes in, is compact & includes all you need. Adjusting the width to match the board is simple. The slot for the screw sets it in the perfect angle. The screws never split the wood. The angle it goes in, gives it a clean finish look. The screws drive in effortlessly and makes the process very simple. It also provides the perfect spacing between the boards, highly recommend!

Convenience at a cost

This hidden fastener system requires special head-less GRK screws, the concept is really neat and actually simplifies screw depth, and even placement. The tool comes with one set of additional shims for different board spacing, but more shims may be available (as the included case is quite big to hold one set.) I do not know the long term life of how screwing a deck board this way works, but the finish is a lot nicer, and screw placement is a lot easier.

This tool packs a punch. Very easy to use and versatile on a number of different size decking and materials screws are a natural fit with a finish that is clean.

Extremely heavy duty feel. Nothing cheap about this product. Has many settings but only with purpose, for ease of use. The screws are also reasonably priced which makes it very worthwhile for both residential and commercial use.

A Must Have.

This is a must have tool for installing deck boards. This tool locks on to the deck board so that you can screw down you board. The tool is adjustable for all size of deck boards. This will give you a deck that you see no fasteners.
