A single-speed pump runs flat out whether the pool needs it or not, and that is where the power bill comes from. This one varies between 1000 and 2900 RPM across four preset modes, cutting energy use by up to 89 percent against a single-speed pump. At full speed it moves 145 GPM to a 56 ft head through 2 in ports, and it self-primes from up to 3 m below. A removable basket catches leaves, hair and sand before they reach the impeller, and particles up to 0.22 in pass through. It runs on 220 to 240V AC with a permanent magnet motor in a reinforced PP-GF30 housing rated IPX5.

1000 to 2900 RPM in 4 Modes: Matching speed to the pool cuts energy use by up to 89 percent against a single-speed pump
145 GPM to a 56-ft Head: Full speed still turns over a large pool through 2 in ports on a self-priming pump body beside the house
Basket Catches Leaves and Hair: Debris is trapped before the impeller, and the basket lifts out for cleaning without tools
In-Ground and Above Ground Pool Use: Filters both pool types and passes particles up to 0.22 in through the volute without clogging
App Sets Speed Mode and Timer: A permanent magnet motor in an IPX5 rated PP-GF30 housing runs quiet beside a patio in the evening
