A velvet rope does two jobs at once: it holds a line where it belongs and it tells arriving guests the space was set up on purpose. Each rope in this 2-pack runs 5 ft / 1.5 m with a 1.26 in diameter, thick enough to read as substantial from across a lobby. The surface is plush velvet with a subtle sheen that holds up under daylight and under indoor lighting, and the black finish reads clean against a gold clasp. Inside, a dense foam core gives the rope its shape and springs back rather than flattening, so it hangs in an even curve instead of sagging into a droop after a few uses. Both ends carry a polished lobster clasp in gold-finished zinc alloy that opens and closes smoothly and locks onto stanchion rings without slipping. Setup is clipping, not assembly: the clasps snap onto the rings of existing posts with no tools and no added hardware. At 1.87 lbs for the pair, the ropes coil into a case between events, and they suit a red carpet entrance, a queue in a theater or bank, a hotel lobby, or a grand opening.
Two 5-ft Ropes Per Pack: Each rope measures 5 ft / 1.5 m at 1.26 in diameter, and the 2-pack spans two posts of a queue line out of one order
Gold Zinc Alloy Lobster Clasps: A polished lobster clasp on each end opens and closes smoothly and locks firmly onto the rings of an existing stanchion
Dense Foam Core Holds Shape: A resilient foam core keeps the rope full and springy, so it hangs in an even curve instead of flattening or collapsing
Events, Theaters, and Lobbies: The barrier suits a red carpet entrance, a theater or bank queue, a hotel lobby, a grand opening, or a private party
Plush Velvet With Soft Sheen: The velvet surface carries a subtle sheen that reads well under daylight and indoor lighting, giving an entrance a formal look
Clips On Without Tools: The clasps snap straight onto stanchion rings, so a line goes up or comes down with no tools and no extra hardware to source
Coils Away at 1.87 lb: The pair weighs 1.87 lbs / 0.85 kg together, light enough to coil into a case and carry between venues after an event closes
