I installed a Cync Smart Thermostat in my home, but there was a problem; not with the thermostat itself, but with the location. I bought other GE light bulbs and sensors before. I bought this to have a temperature sensor that I can put in another room of the house and see the temperature from the app without going to the room. I tried to set this up to work in the app, and then I saw it said I need the GE thermostat to use it. I do not have the GE thermostat, and I was not planning on buying a new thermostat any time soon.
