Great when it works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought and installed following the install instructions and video. The ice bucket is always frozen solid like the ice maker overflows into the bin and freezes everything together.

SweepstakesExcellent Addition to Our Refrigerator
Great product and excellent addition to our refrigerator to give us much better ice making capacity. Installation was extremely easy, since our refrigerator was already configured with water lines to receive the additional ice maker. There were several additional parts included as part of the kit that we did not need, so unfortunately they were throw-away.

Tons of Ice
Installation was a little tricky, but this unit puts out ice quickly and consistently. We never run out of ice anymore, even on hot days. Will buy another one for the new fridge in my summer home.

Seems Slow, But Works
The instructions are pretty straightforward for this kit. I already had an ice maker in my fridge door, but still had to go through the full installation as if I didn't have an ice maker (when you read the instructions you'll see what I mean). I installed it at around 4PM. By 9PM it still wasn't making any ice. I had forgotten to go to the refrigerator settings to turn on the bottom ice maker.
