You need 2 for 3-way operation
Got this switch for a 3-way replacement in an old house with no neutral. One thing I missed initially is you MUST use one on both locations. So if you have one regular 3-way switch on one end, you can’t use only one smart switch. Kind of a bummer but I got the second one and it works great. I now have several of these throughout my home and they are all working great.
