Cync Smart Light Switch

The switch was easy to install and activate in the Cync app. however the Cync app is not most intuitive to use. Some of the scenarios and routine was not really clear of the necessity or purpose during setup.

Barely work

Installed about 10 in two different houses and not one worked properly. Every issue was different. They flicker, they randomly turn off, they were doa, one fried because apparently you can't do anything but lights, etc. I can't possibly recommend them to anyone for any purpose. The one good thing is the customer service was good, something you wouldn't get with most tech.

Works great with Alexa!

I had someone install it for me, have not done it before. I use it in my garage. One of the switches turns outside lights on a schedule (I always forget). Other controls garage light. Alexa found and uses them easily.

GE Smart Switches are excellent.

Easiest of this genre to install and setup. A great product!

Cync is a Horrible product

I am a dealer and installer, and have installed to most of my lights in my home. This system looses grouping and schedules anytime there is a power loss, whether a loss of power to the house, or work requiring a breaker to be turned off. Any time there is a power loss you have to go to every switch and redo that programming. Un exeptable for this type of product. As long as its been out they should have fixed by now.

Taking these back--they don't work

I wish I had read the reviews before wasting my time and money on this Cync switch. While easy to wire, the ease ends there. The device connected to WiFi, then can't be updated. Then the device lost its connection and the lights go on and off at their own choosing. Then it connects again and disconnects again. These things are garbage.
