The Midwest 60 Amp 240-Volt Fused (requires 2 fuses installed on the back side of the puller). This Metallic AC Disconnect is designed to stop the flow of electricity to allow you to safely work on the air conditioner. The disconnect is made of galvanized steel with polyester powder coating to resist corrosion. For easier and faster install times, it offers features such as three piece opening, straight-in/straight-out wiring, and numerous knockouts. The unit is for use with AWG solid #14/8 copper, #12/8 aluminum or stranded #14/3 copper, #12/3 aluminum. It is UL Listed, CSA Listed, ANSI Certified, and NEMA 3R approved. The unit does require 2 fuses to be installed and is compatible with fuse classes H, K1, K5, K9, RK1 and RK5. The Midwest AC disconnect replaces the GE branded disconnects.
