It seems that 2 years is about all I get out of these dehumidifiers before the coils start to freeze up. I doubt quality is going up so my expectations are low for this latest purchase. Worse unit and Company. Buyer Beware
Our unit would completely ice over and ice would be sticking out the back after only 2 montths. Tried moving the unit, etc. Call Frigidaire, told they would send a new one...Never sent, called back, said they would send a tech...never showed. called and they said they have no record. called at least 10 times. Still NOTHING.

This dehumidifier lasted 2 years a 2months for me. I bought this July 1 2023 and it stopped working properly. It freezes up and just keeps running. I called your service number and was told basically oh well call a repair service. The charge would be more than the cost. This should last longer than this. It doesn't run in 2 heating seasons. All of Frigidaire is off my list when shopping for new appliances.

garbage. 300$ and its broken less than 8 months.
Garbage. Don't buy this. We had one previously for almost a decade. This froze over and broke within 8 months. Their customer service is rude. For $300 I would expect at least 3-5 years.

50 Pint Dehumidifier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this brand for our dehumidifier. It is the only brand that lasted more tha 1 year. We had our last one for about 8 years and are praying this one lasts at least that long also. The only thing we liked better about the previous Frigidaire Dehumidifier is that there was a little slot on the bottom of the bucket to help get it out to empty it. It also helped to carry the bucket out to dump. So far it has been working great.
