Good threshold, description inadequate.
The Serrano threshold is good quality. However, there were no good color descriptions or photos for the specific finishes available. Lowes lumps all the reviews for all the versions together. I knew this would likely not match my natural finish hickory floor, and it did not. The Serrano has a sort of vanilla wash/stain with a thick topcoat that almost made it look like plastic. I sanded it down to bare wood and put a clear poly topcoat on it, and it looks great and matches well.

Reasonable substitute for Bruce part #T9797
I decided to try this brand since the Bruce threshold was out of stock. I'm very pleased with the color match for the Bruce Cinnamon Maple flooring I have; however the profile (shape) is slightly different than Bruce part #T9797. The thicker side is also not as tall. It's not noticeable unless you're going to butt this piece up against the Bruce part. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.
