Lovely review by Project Farm said it had little side to side movement which he called “slop” and rated this number one. After receiving mine opening the clamshell to mount the included blade, I found it was difficult to snap closed but doable. However, the blade end didn’t entirely close, leaving a gap. I found that moving the button to reopen the clamshell hinge was stubborn, but I got it. The blade however wouldn’t extend at all. Determined to figure out why it was binding I surprised mysel...
Inusable
After inserting the blade into the knife during to poor manufacturing tolerences it would jamb and not extend. The only way to use it would be to open it each time you want to extend the blade. Disappointing.

I actually really, really like this utility knife. The design's great. It's smooth, the blade doesn't come out the front, and works as advertised. I honestly don't have any complaints about this product. I use it almost everyday.

Terrific Retractable Utility Knife
The shape and design for changing the blade are great. The one feature the knife had was an auto retractable feature for safety.

Easiest for blade changing. Opens for blade change
Best box cutter I've found. Blade lock keeps the blade from retracting.
