Very durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weight is really heavy. Safety is not too bad since you will be hitting it to split wood. No simply required. And the durability is really good it doesn't break or split cuz it is metal.

Heavy and easy to handle

Simple Log Splitter That Gets the Job Done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This log splitter can take a beating! It did a great job while we were splitting logs for our fire ring. It was easy to get pegged into the wood and sliced through. Once it was in, you definitely need to hammer it through to get it back out. I did enjoy the bright orange so there was no misplacing it.

Very good buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] very easy to hold though it is very heavy. it preforms perfectly as advertised and is also sharp enough for the job! The only real problem with it was the color was red instead of the orange in the picture so i wasn’t sure it was mine at first.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used steel splitters in the past but Fiskars Helix Steel Log Splitter out performed the rest. The helicoidal shape penetrates well and spreads as the sledge hammer hits. Its wider than a conventional wedge. I highly recommend this product.
