Good choice but slight design flaw
Bin is a good size if you are cooking a lot and have a good amount of compost. You probably wouldnt want this sitting on top of the counter as it is tall, but you can easily hang it on the inside of a cabinet door since it has hangers on the back. Filter is simple but works really well. We cannot smell the compost. One downside is that the lid does not close with a tight seal, so we do see some fruit flies once and a while. It is not completely open, but the top does not fit tightly to inner rim...
