Natural hardwood product without dyes.

Good attractive long lasting product. Problem is the packaging. Most sacks already have holes and almost everyone will have spillage by the time you load it in a basket and then into your vehicle.

Poor Service!

While price was decent, the mulch was not as ‘brown’ as I have previously purchased. Was it old stock? Not sure. The low rating however is due to very poor & unsatisfactory customer service. With only one person at the combined ‘returns & customer service’ desk, as the only customer I waited over 5 minutes while the attendant was on the phone with a customer. Not uniformly ground and has some large chunks

Bought to match existing mulch and it matched OK but had larger wood chunks than earlier purchases and one plastic bottle cap and one plastic scrap which I picked out after application of mulch. May buy pricier mulch product next time.

Literal Garbage Mixed In

The mulch itself seems a good size for my purposes, but I won't buy it again due to how much shredded plastic garbage was mixed in. A piece here and there I can accept, but I was picking out 2-4 scraps of plastic garbage from about 2/3 of the bags of mulch. I need mulch for a garden, and it's ridiculous to have plastic garbage mixed in an "organic" product. Quality control needs improvement. A good natural mulch

I only purchased one bag to test. I am hoping it was representative of all the bags. It is a nice shredded mulch. I did not find large pieces or stray objects that you find in some other brands. I also like that no coloring is added but it's still a nice brown color. Note it is a lighter brown than the colored brown mulches.

Very Nice Mulch

Originally bought 20 bags which were spread, got 5 more bags and spread those and then had to add 8 more bags to the landscape. It all looked real good. We had to work around small plants which meant the best spread was done by the hand and knee method. A little extra work this way but the outcome was AWESOME. I did specifically get the mulch in the white bags. The material was consistent and did not have construction material in it nor large chunks

This covered well and was easy to apply.

terminated bag loading assistance

The mulch was wet and heavy. However, Lowe's has terminated bag loading assistance. This is very inconvenient for customers.

One Great Mulch

I really like using this mulch in my Vego raised beds-keeps everything tidy and helps hold in moisture!
