Inexpensive
These glasses were inexpensive. We used them during the eclipse. They even worked under my glasses.

Great price for a one-time event!
Ordered and picked up at local Lowe's the next day. No problems. Others say these are from an approved, USA company which is what I was looking for. For the person complaining about them being a cheap paper pair of glasses - that's what they've always been! One-time use! What more can you expect for less than $2.00???? Good job, Lowes...thanks!
Intelligence required!
For those dissatisfied buyers...if you only read the specifications tab, it states that one pair of glasses comes in the package and that colors/designs vary. The picture is accurate in showing the different designs.
AWESOME VALUE -NASA Certified SOLAR ECLIPSE Glasse
Great value for NASA Certified Viewing Glasses. Highly recommend.
HORRIBLY PACKAGED! ARRIVED DAMAGED!
Like someone else has commented on here my order arrived HORRIBLY damaged. This review is not on the item itself but rather my experience with ordering from Lowe's. I ordered 3 pairs of these and they were send to me in a gigantic envelope which was much too large for the glasses and they arrived damaged. There was no markings on the envelope indicating that it shouldn't be bent or anything. Whoever packaged them clearly didn't care about the safety of the item at all. It was ridiculous. The arm...
So grateful to Loew's
After researching all night online and finding many reputable suppliers already sold out, and feeling I could not count on other suppliers -because of high demand- to get the glasses to me before the ECLIPSE DATE, not to mention the high prices online, I was so grateful to find this NASA APPROVED brand for a fair price at Lowe's. THANK YOU LOEWS!!! Now that I have excellent glasses in my hand, I am ready for this once-in-a-lifetime event!
"The Eclipser" by American Paper Optics, ISO safe
I was delighted to find these at Lowe's after extensive research on safe glasses, because most other places that I felt confident buying from were already sold out. These are sold individually--don't be fooled by the stock photo showing multiple pair. I ordered 3 pair, and all 3 I received were the attractive stars & stripes pattern (not pictured here, but you can see it in my photo or on the American Paper Optics website). I was concerned when I got an email that my shipment was delayed, but ...
What? Only 1 pair???
Yup, just got my order. Needed 3 pair and the picture had three. Would have happily paid for the other two. Misleading. Not good lowes
Arrived all crinkled up and unusable
The product appears to be great, exactly what you're looking for. However, Lowe's shipped three of them to me in simple bubble packs with no cardboard backing or anything so they got all crinkled up. Which is bad enough for the cardboard part that goes around your ears but that could probably be fixed. The problem is the lenses also got all crinkled up and so they're unusable. I'll be returning them and would NOT buy them via mail. In store if they're available I assume would be fine.
