Good little bike
When I bought the bike I was worry about climbing hills that are steep. Fortunately the motor is powerful enough and I was quite surprised. I like the sport mode because it runs like my old honda minitrail bike. The only thing is the range when used it in this mode so I purchase 2x 12ah battery to replace the 7.5ah. Hopefully I will get a better distance.

The children have really enjoyed the ego trail bike. The batteries last for several hours if it's not over 90 degrees when they are riding. The trail bike is quite quick even on the echo mode. Should have new riders learn while in the grass if possible, just incase they tip over while learning to ride it. We haven't depleted the batteries fully when using the bike, but has lasted for 8 to 10 miles with half battery life left. We keep the bike out of the weather so that it's not out in the rain...

Great bike, not so great company.
While it's a great little bike, very zippy, absolutely silent, and a ton of fun, Ego itself has a major flaw and the reason for only two stars. You see, Michigan will register it as a moped provided it has mirrors and turn signals, which was quite easy to do. However, Michigan also must have a "Manufacturer Certific of Origin" to register it. Ego does not (and will not) provide one, which results in a ton of hoops, logistics, and expense to go through to circumvent said document requirement.

Super fun
Super fun in mountains and bike paths! We bought 3 the first week and haven’t stopped riding since. 3years! We customized them with carbon fiber sheets so we each have different colors.
