Gave it one star because there is nothing lower. Remote will not work, new batteries in transmitter and receiver. Manual will not work, won’t ignite or burn on manual, yes pilot is burning. I have made several attempts to contact the supplier as outlined in the owners manual and absolutely no reply. Not only terrible and irresponsible customer service but this product is dangerous. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

Easy to put in

I like having a remote with it but seems that it doesn't come on when i would prefer it to but its a good heater.

Never buy Duluth

My new Duluth logs were set up in November and every 10 days the pilot would go out for good.  I'd have to schedule, take off work and the gas company would return...8x's they came out.  Constant scheduling and all workers finally said the system was a lemon.  I contacted Duluth Forge in February and they said I was over the 3 months time.  I showed the print of how many visits from gas company and how I thought each time it would be fixed but they would not send me a new system. Easy to install

We love this fireplace insert. It heats up our room very quick, I had to turn the flame down because it would get too warm too quick. The logs look real. The remote control works great. Just set the temperature you desire on the remote and the fireplace will keep the room at that temperature.

Wrong rough in measurements

It said rough in height is 21 inches and the actually measurement of unit is 22.5 inches

cannot get it to light

We bought insert and have tried to get pilot to light and stay but will not. We right away tried to contact Duluth but cannot get through to anyone. Also contacted Lowes. Was told had to contact Duluth. This has been 2 years and still does not work. So disappointed that Duluth has no service. We should have thrown our money in the trash because that is very close to what we did. Terrible company and product.

Great look

Great buy. I love the remote and thermostat capabilities.
