2" of height makes for a lot more comfort. Very easy to install, just don't go crazy tightening the plastic bolts. snug is good enough; you're not torquing heads on a 327. Cleaning is cleaning. Remove it,soap it down and hit it with the shower.

Simple enough installation but requires removal of the existing toilet seat. The toilet seat is held in place with two brackets with plastic screws; time will tell whether or not the plastic screws are durable enough for extended use on a daily basis. Bottom line (no pun intended), the 2 inch elevation is exactly what we needed as it allows the knees to be at 90 degrees during use which makes rising from the toilet easier. Just home from the hospital, not supposed to bend - makes using the bathroom hard. This product makes life so much easier as I heal.

Does not clamp properly
The handles that are to clamp on to the side of the toilet bowl are very poor. They are just plastic and when any pressure is put on them they pop out. The seat is basically resting on the toilet. I don't believe this would be good for anyone. I purchased it for my mother but I have a feeling it will not be staying around.
