Drive Medical Duet Dual Function Transport Wheelchair Rollator Rolling Walker, Blue

Hope for a perfect product to alleviate a return.

Product is great, but it came with a faulty holding pin, making the walker/chair unsafe. Called the manufacturer, who told me I had to contact Lowe's, who would then take it back and order a new one. Would have been a big hassle. So I borrowed some special tools and fixed it myself.

Defective

Defective wheel rolling problems. Wheel stopped rolling and dumped me out on the floor. Then it would not roll.

I really liked the fact that it was light weight but not cheaply made, rolled smoothly, first time I was able to walk almost around the block in a long time.

I did get a comfortable seat cushion for it.

The walker helps take pressure off my hips and spine which allows me independent mobility.

Great dual function walker/wheelchair

It is the perfect duet (walker + wheelchair) for our need - primarily using walker inside the house and using it as wheelchair when going out of the house once in a while. Like it for it's relatively compact size and weight (not that heavy). It is easy to convert from walker to wheelchair and back. Seat is pretty sturdy and wide enough to sit properly. The only little thing we don't like is that once folded, the seat isn't secured and flops around which if not paid attention could easily break.

Very easy to take in and out of the car. Mom loves to use it as a transport when she is tired.

Great Idea But a Tipping Hazard

Just bought this Rollator/Transport chair. It is a great idea when using it as a simple rollator to walk on your own. And if the walk is to far, sit down on the opposite side, put your feet on the foot rest and let someone else do the pushing. It is like part walker....part wheel chair. However, it is a TIPPING HAZARD on the side where the foot rest is. Lean over to far, over you go!! Happened to me in a store. Reached down to pick up something I dropped....over on the floor I went! BE CAREFUL.....
