I have no idea how this Dremel is so highly reviewed. It's wildly underpowered; cuts at about 1/4 the rate of other budget options I've owned.
Sanding Pad Failed on First Use
The oscillating tool itself has worked well, but the included sanding pad failed the very first time I used it. The hook-and-loop (Velcro) surface on the sanding pad separated almost immediately, so the sanding paper would no longer stay attached. As the paper shifted during use, it gouged the wood I was sanding and ruined the surface. Worked awesome for about 30 minutes. I noticed it had rust inside of it. I’m not sure if this was previously used or if the device just started breaking after 30 minutes. I still need to return as it’s not good. Worked excellent until it stopped.
