Great . . . until disappointed

The blueprint 12V compact saw kit is a great concept and very useful for small projects. It was working great . . . until the blade guard broke off while cutting 1/2 inch wide molding. That was very disappointing because I like the saw. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to return it.

Mixed reviews

Just tried this saw for the first time for making a picture frame where I needed 45° miter. I was impressed with the clean cuts, but the 45° angles never matched up. The guide on one side appears like it may possibly go to 46° and on the other side stops at 45? It’s tough to know where to align the guide. seems like maybe you need to check the guide with the speed square and not rely on the numbers?

I work with different species of wood making wood mosaics. The ease of use and elimination of table and miter saw , are well worth the investment.

Hnady tool for small projects

The Saw Station is a handy item to have for small cutting jobs. It's like having a portable workbench and track guide all in one. Have not used the bevel risers yet but clamps worked great and saw moved smoothly in the tracks. I especially like the laser light to help align the cut. If you have thick lumber or large plywood to cut, then regular circular saw is way to go. But for small projects, this saw station fits the bill; especially for multiple, repetitive cuts. I recommend it.

Jams

I bought this tool as a Father's Day gift but my husband who loved the whole concept said it jams midway. I said maybe it needs to fully charge so I gave it a try and the saw jams while cutting 2x4 or any wood ...maybe mine is defected... Looking into returning it and it bums me out.

Dremel hit another home run with this one!

Capable, versatile, compact saw

Obviously it won’t be replacing my full-size circular saw, miter saw, or table saw, but I do see this as a useful addition to my shop. This is great to take to the home goods center to breakdown sheet goods with a straight edge. Very useful for small cuts. I do a lot of hobby woodworking and if purchased with the work table set up this is very useful for making quick miters and adjustments easily. Charges easily....

Saw is not heavy like a 7 1/4 saw is. I wish I could have gotten the kit. I could see the bennifit of getting the complete kit . I wish that they sell the kit without the saw.
