It’s better than a glowforge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the LC40 for a couple of years and it was a good machine, surpassing the glowforge in many types of operation. It is unfortunate that Dremel decided to stop selling it.

very easy to use laser cutting platform

Endless Possibilities!

I researched everything out there and decided the Dremel LC40-01 was for me. And, I couldn't be happier! Awesome Engraver

Nice cutter, some issues out of the box

Purchased this for my high school engineering/CAD class to help us integrate some of our 3D modeling work to the real world. The laser cuts and engraves great, is easy to use, and provides way more detail than i though it would. There were some problems with it out of the box. The sensor that monitors water flow was not functioning and the small foam tabs that help keep the lid shut were not installed correctly. Amazing Value for Schools

This was a dream purchase which our schools fundraising made happen. It has been so fun to learn how to use it. I had no direct experience with laser cutting but this cutter is incredibly straight forward to use. I have cut a number of things now and have realized that my experience design parts for 3D printing (also with Dremel printers) is helpful but also very different. Amazing!

This is by far the best purchase I have ever made! The quality of this machine is incredible. The laser is accurate and makes great cuts. I wish I would have purchased this years ago.
