Delta Lorain tub faucet

Would Recommend

The design is more delicate than a lot of the massive plumbing fixtures currently on the market. The stainless steel is popular. Whole effect is stylish urban industrial.

Lukewarm Water

Would Not Recommend

While this looks nice, the hottest the plumber can get the water temperature is lukewarm. I had a handyman look at it as well and couldn’t adjust the temps anymore. I have a call in to a different plumber and if he has no better success then I will have no choice but to replace and throw this one away. Waste of time and money.

tub faucet broke after less than 12 uses

Bought it for our guest bathroom during a remodel 10 months ago. Shower has been used about a dozen times and the tub faucet has stopped working. A rubber O-ring popped out that switches flow to the shower head and now nothing comes out of the shower, water just flows out the top of the tub faucet when and where you pull to switch it over. Looks good but for a name brand product (Delta), and the cost +$100 very disappointed. Trying to figure out if they have replacement parts or if I should jus...

I just purchased and installed this and have a few thoughts. Most of the parts are plastic with a metallic look. So I am sure it is cheaply made. I have a tank-less water heater and had to readjust the hot setting on the control head, no biggie, just hope I can fine tune it to work with the water heater a little better as the tank-less heaters operate on cfm flow in order for the heater to actually come and stay on for the water to be heated. We bought this as a replacement for an existing Delta shower system, and it's a disappointment, particularly the faucet. There's a plastic insert in the faucet that keeps the water from coming out in a solid stream. I tried to show it in the attached video. We thought that maybe the insert should be removed, but it's not mentioned in the installation instructions.
