Fantastic product, exactly as described

The product is exactly what I expected, however they would not work in my circumstances.

OK, but not heavy duty.

Unfortunately, these are not very well made. The tiny screw that attached the rear piece of metal strips very easily, and the washer/cotter pin arrangement leave way too much slop in the rotating holdback part of this arrangement. I was not impressed with the overall construction of these. Luckily, I only needed a single set for an odd ball window shutter setup.

Dont buy this product if you want it to work!

This product does not work ir perform like its supposed to. Very flimsy, very cheaply made.

Hardware makes a difference!

These worked fine once I made PVC pipe bushing spacers the length of the thickness of my shutters from the wall which make the dogs stay parallel to the wall instead of tipping out due to the shutter pushing on them. Its great that they are stainless steel and they look great and work as they should.
