A good solution to a tedious problem
This is a great tool! If anyone has ever had to remove staples from carpet pad, it is a tedious job. The tool is heavy duty and the grip feels good in the hand. The curved foot provides leverage and protects the hand.
Staple Puller
I have not used the staple puller yet but it is high quality and very well built. I am sure that it will do the job very easily. Looking forward to using it in the future..
Finally No More Pliers!
This puller is really well made. Good quality, and definitely heavy duty. I used it to pull staples off wood and it certainly is better than using a pair of pilers. It also works great on staples used for electrical wiring. Once you get the tooth between the staple and the wire, it works great because of the rolled base of the tool, making it safer because you have less chance of damaging the wire insulation. Definitely a good tool to add to the toolbox!
Staple remover
Wow what a great tool! This tool is great for removing staples and nails from your subfloor before laying laminate flooring. It is ergonomic and feels great in your hand. The quality of the tool is nice and the handle is comfortable. I would recommend this item.
Well made but heavy
The zenith staple puller looks like it’s well made and sturdy. It has a solid metal base and handle which is covered in a thick plastic. The ridges on the handle will make it less likely to slip. However it’s pretty heavy and may be hard to use for long periods.
Great Tool for Carpet / Staple Removal!
This staple puller saved my hands and fingers! It was such an easy tool to use to get those pesky staples out of an old wood floor covered with carpet. The handle was sturdy and comfortable, and the metal is great quality and didn't bend. The shape of the tool is a great design. This saved me from using pliers or a pry bar!
Good Product
This puller would be great for someone that is interested in doing their own carpet removal. It is well made and seems to be heavy duty. At this time we did not have carpet to pull so we used it on some wall covering that is stapled on and it worked really good.
Excellent tool for removing standard sized staples
Really handy staple puller if you have to pull a ton of regular sized staples. It makes quick work of staples without damaging the surface, can reach awkward angles, and has pretty impressive torque. The only downside is that if you need to get out any smaller/older staples the teeth are too large to get any kind of leverage. This is great for anyone trigger happy with the staple gun during renovations but unfortunately doesn't pull staples of all sizes.
This is a Great Tool for the job!
Having removed thousands of staples over the years using pliers, and screw drivers, I was glad to see that someone came up with a tool specifically designed for the job! The Zenith Staple Puller does a great job, and really speeds things up. I was able to use it on base board, as well as the staples holding the carpet pad down. On my current project, my dog had started the carpet removal (something that we don't normally promote), but he left the staples for me. Finishing what he started wen...
A solidly built product
The first thing I noticed pulling it out of the box was the heft of the product. It is quite well made with a comfortable handle. It has a curve built into the body to provice a rocking motion to faciliate pulling of the staples. The teeth are broad and should fit under most staples. Given their size if the staple is countersunk you may have to dig into the floor a bit. I'm not a professional, but for my DIY needs it should work quite well.
