They will not stay up no matter what I really think you would have to duct tape or glue them to your legs to get them to stay. Then they've got a ridge at the top of the knee pad that will dig in between your knee and your shin when they slide down. Don't buy is my recommendation
Needs longer straps for bigger people.
Like another reviewer on here, I'm also 6'3". I can barely connect the lower straps together. I did a test run with them, and yes, the pads themselves are comfortable on my knees. But having the straps darn near choke off circulation to my legs makes these a no-go for me. I would have taken them back to the store for a refund. However I work overseas and just happened to pick these up while I was back in the US. There's no Lowes out here in Japan.
