Just got the tool and was excited to install the blade and get to work. Looked through the box for the blade guard and couldn’t find it. After some online research apparently it doesn’t come with a blade guard. Thought that was strange and potentially dangerous. The Milwaukee I have used before sure had one. Would be a five star rating if it had come with the safety guard

NO BLADE COVERS

I have over 29 Dewalt tools and have had no QUALITY problems, I got this as a Christmas present and opened the box and took it into my shop to try it out. Cutting a small piece of metal, ALL I saw was sparks! Stopping to check it out the blade covers were not on the saw. I checked the box and none there. No covers and no screws to mount them. What has happened here - I don't know, were they to be mounted? and not done at assembly? I checked on line and it shows blade covers for the saw. Now I h...
